Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This page explains what cookies Nordik Lab uses and why. We use cookies only for what is necessary to run the service, plus limited product analytics that do not use cookies.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember information about your visit across page loads and sessions.

Cookies we use

Session and authentication cookies

When you sign in, Nordik Lab sets a session cookie to keep you authenticated across page loads. This cookie is essential for the platform to function — without it, you would be signed out on every page navigation. It does not contain your password and expires when you sign out or when your session expires.

OAuth state cookies

When you connect an integration (Strava, WHOOP, etc.), Nordik Lab sets a short-lived cookie to maintain the OAuth state parameter and prevent CSRF during the authorization flow. This cookie is deleted immediately after the connection completes.

Product analytics (no analytics cookies)

Nordik Lab uses PostHog to understand broad product usage, such as which app routes are visited and whether an account is a coach or athlete. PostHog runs with memory-only storage: it does not set analytics cookies or retain a cross-session device identifier. We disable automatic interaction capture, and PostHog session recording is turned off. We never send training, health, biometric, name, or email data to PostHog.

Error monitoring (no cookies)

Nordik Lab uses Sentry to monitor application errors in the web app and the iOS app. Sentry does not set cookies. When an error occurs it receives the error and technical context: the page address, browser and device type, and the sequence of actions immediately preceding the error, such as which controls were used and which pages were visited. Sensitive URL parameters, such as password-reset and sign-in link tokens, are removed before the report is sent. We do not record or replay your screen.

What we do not use

Nordik Lab does not use:

  • Advertising cookies or tracking pixels
  • Advertising or marketing analytics cookies
  • Social media tracking cookies
  • Fingerprinting or device tracking

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in to Nordik Lab. Our product analytics do not rely on cookies; there is no advertising or marketing impact from allowing cookies.
