Terms of Use

1. Service description

Nordik Lab is a training platform for endurance athletes and coaches. It connects to fitness and health devices and services, displays training and readiness data, supports planning and coaching workflows, and includes Nordik Intelligence, an AI assistant for training analysis and workout generation.

2. Account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at nordiklabs@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

One account per person. Do not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit authorization.

3. Health and safety disclaimer

Nordik Lab is a training management tool, not a medical device or clinical service. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Training load scores, readiness metrics, and AI-generated suggestions are informational tools — they are not a substitute for professional coaching, sports medicine, or clinical judgment. You remain solely responsible for your training decisions.

Do not rely on Nordik Lab in a medical emergency. If you are experiencing a health emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

4. AI-generated content

Nordik Intelligence generates editable drafts. AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for your situation. You must review all generated workouts, training blocks, and recommendations before acting on them. Nordik Lab is not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content without independent review.

5. Your content

You own the data and files you upload to Nordik Lab. By uploading content (context files, .fit files, notes), you grant Nordik Lab a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your training data.

Do not upload content you do not own or have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

6. Third-party integrations

When you connect a third-party service (Strava, WHOOP, Polar, Garmin, Suunto, Concept2, Wahoo, Hammerhead), you are also subject to that provider's terms of service and privacy policy. Nordik Lab is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party platforms.

7. Prohibited uses

See our full Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, you may not:

• Access data that does not belong to you
• Attempt to bypass access controls, authentication, or rate limits
• Use the service to build competing datasets, automated abuse systems, or tools that scrape or aggregate other users' data
• Use AI-generated outputs as emergency or clinical medical guidance
• Upload malware, stolen material, or content that violates applicable law

8. Intellectual property

The Nordik Lab platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Nordik Lab. These terms grant you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform.

9. Disclaimers

Nordik Lab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of training metrics, or uninterrupted availability. Third-party data (Strava, WHOOP, etc.) is provided by those services and Nordik Lab cannot guarantee its accuracy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nordik Lab's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. Nordik Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including injury, illness, or losses resulting from training decisions.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU and UK users, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition to these terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Nordik Lab at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting nordiklabs@gmail.com. Nordik Lab may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after the updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will notify you in advance.
